Sweet Bonanza 1000

Pragmatic Play has pushed two of its best-known slot series to a new “2500” edition. Sweet Bonanza 2500 was announced on 30 April 2026 (Pragmatic Play news release) and Gates of Olympus 2500 on 28 September 2026 (Pragmatic Play news release). The short answer for players: in both games the biggest multiplier symbol rises from 1,000x to 2,500x, but only Gates of Olympus also raises its maximum win (from 15,000x to 25,000x). Sweet Bonanza keeps the same 25,000x cap it already had in the 1000 version. Both new titles were listed in the Pragmatic Play slot lobby of our partner platform BAY888 with a HOT tag when we checked on 2026-10-24.

This comparison is written by 44jl, an independent English slots guide for Filipino players. We earn a commission from BAY888 when readers sign up there; that relationship does not change the publisher numbers below, which are copied from pragmaticplay.com and linked next to each figure.

Quick facts: the 2500 and 1000 versions side by side

All four games use a 6×5 grid where 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the screen pay, and winning symbols tumble away to make room for new ones. The table lists only what Pragmatic Play publishes on its own game, campaign and news pages.

Note on the Gates of Olympus 2500 RTP: Pragmatic Play shows two slightly different figures on its own site on 2026-10-24 — 96.51% on the game page and 96.52% on the campaign page. We show both rather than pick one. The value that applies to you is the one in the game’s own information screen in the lobby where you play, so check it there.

Gates of Olympus 2500: bigger multipliers and four bonus modes

The base game works like before: matching symbols pay up to 50x and tumble, and multiplier symbols can land on any spin or tumble, with all multipliers on the same spin added together and applied to the total win (campaign page). The difference is the ceiling: multiplier symbols now reach 2,500x instead of the 1,000x of Gates of Olympus 1000.

The new pre-bonus wheel

Landing four or more scatters gives 15 free spins, but before the feature starts a wheel decides which of four bonus games you get (news release). In Free Spins 1, multipliers that land on a winning spin are added to a running total before being applied. In Free Spins 2, every multiplier that lands is added to the progressive total, which then boosts later wins. Each of the two also has a Super Free Spins version in which the minimum multiplier is raised to 10x. Three or more scatters during the feature add five more free spins (game page). Gates of Olympus 1000 had a single free-spins mode in which every multiplier on a winning spin joined the total multiplier (news release).

Special bets and bonus buys

The campaign page lists Super Spin 1 (a multiplier guaranteed on every spin), Super Spin 2 (minimum guaranteed multiplier of 25x), three Ante Bet options that raise the chance of triggering free spins or Super Free Spins, and four bonus buy options, one for each bonus mode (campaign page). Gates of Olympus 1000 offered one bonus buy at 100x the bet (game page). Pragmatic Play does not publish the cost of the 2500 special bets on these pages, and special bets and buys are not available in every market, so check what the version in your lobby actually shows.

Sweet Bonanza 2500: higher candy bombs, same 25,000x cap

Sweet Bonanza 2500 keeps the series formula: 8–12+ matching sweets pay anywhere, up to 50x in the base game, and four lollipop scatters open 10 free spins (news release). During free spins, candy bomb multipliers stay on screen through the tumbles and are added together at the end; their top value goes from 1,000x in Sweet Bonanza 1000 to 2,500x (game page, Sweet Bonanza 1000 page).

In select markets the 2500 edition adds special bets and bonus buys that unlock multipliers in the base game, higher guaranteed minimum multipliers and two Super Free Spins options: one raises the minimum multiplier up to 20x, the other sets a 10x minimum and activates a progressive total multiplier that grows through the feature (news release).

Max win in pesos. At a ₱10 bet, a 25,000x cap equals ₱250,000 and a 15,000x cap equals ₱150,000. A cap is the most a single spin or bonus can pay; it is a rare ceiling, not a typical result.

RTP in pesos. RTP is a long-run average over a very large number of spins. Across ₱1,000 of total bets, 96.53% versus 96.52% is a theoretical difference of ₱0.10 — far smaller than the normal swings of any real session. On these figures, choosing between a 1000 and a 2500 version is about features and volatility, not return. Pragmatic Play labels Gates of Olympus 2500 “High Volatility” (campaign page): wins tend to come less often but can be larger, so budget for long dry spells.

Are they in the BAY888 lobby?

Yes. On 2026-10-24 both Gates of Olympus 2500 and Sweet Bonanza 2500 were listed among the 300 Pragmatic Play slots in the BAY888 lobby, each with a HOT tag. Gates of Olympus 1000 and Sweet Bonanza 1000 were also listed. A HOT tag is the platform’s own label; it is not a measure of payout. We did not check whether demo play is offered, and BAY888 is a separate platform with its own terms. Gambling in the Philippines is for people aged 21 and above, and PAGCOR lists further groups who may not play (PAGCOR responsible gaming page).
